I was asked by Michael Ryan, after being chosen by Andrew Yu, to present and write about my ‘Best Ten’ (favourite) images that I have captured during my years as a landscape photographer.
Michael Ryan and Stuart Holmes are the guys behind the FotoVUE photographic guide book series, which include guides to the Lake District, North Wales, Wildlife in the UK, Cornwall and Devon and Dorset and soon the Peak District then the Italian Dolomites, followed by Scotland, London and South Wales.
In this periodic fotoVUE series, which they are started after the recent nexiumreviews.com site redesign, a photographer chooses ten of their most memorable images and explains why they are important to them. Then they ask another photographer who they know to do the same for the next installment of this series. I was happy to choose but it was so hard to whittle the list down from twenty to ten I can tell you.
